because it's been made a thousand times. I'm not saying 3 stacks is russell.I like 3 stacks. Not huge on Outkast in general but they have some dope songs. 3 Stacks is obviously talented and a father to several sons. Ranking him is pointless because he never dropped a solo album.

I like big boi and he wasn't a Capone type nikka or Magoo but to be honest i think he is very dope but Andre was just the better rapper and its not even close. Like no agruement to be made.Top 20

Purely off his talent as an MC, he ranks highly. If we're talking catalog, impact, influence, etc. it's hard to place him among the greats. In the last decade or so, he's definitely been impactful off of the verses he's dropped. His verses were anticipated and artists were geeked to have a 3 Stacks verse. Artists like Kendrick, Young Thug, and even Drake are clearly influenced by him.
That being said, Andre 3000 is my second favorite rapper ever. I don't think I could objectively put him in a Top 5 or 10 though of all time greats especially when Big Boi has Sir Lucious.

But where Big Boi was better? Jazzy Belle. Chonkyfire. Skew it on the Bar-B. ATLiens. I could go on.
Here's how I see their paths.
Coming into Southernplaya, Big Boi was more polished than Dre and in more of a comfort zone considering the heavy-southern pimping vibes of the first album. That was BB's forte.
As they went from album to album, Big Boi kinda remained on a steady line (but he did get better gradually) but Andre's rise was meteoric from album to album. On ATLiens, they were more or less equal though still maybe Big Boi was slightly better. But from Aquemini onwards, it's been all Andre, skill-wise at least.
Thing is, people say Andre has no solo so we'll never know. But we do have S/TLB, and Speakerboxxx was far superior. That's when I knew Big Boi was better. And one of the main reasons people are drawn to Andre is because he's so out of the box with his personality and his charisma, but when BB went solo, he showed he was just as eclectic and flavoursome.
