Doesn't sound anywhere near as bad as being a Federal contractor. You travel way more get paid less. And can be laid off with less than 2 weeks notice. If you're company gets booted off the contract. They can even force you to travel to a freaking warzone.

When you roll onto that next case and it's garbage though?Still here. Consulting just consists of big ups and downs. As soon as I got into another project it was so chill I'm surprised I get paid. But the pendulum can swing back at any moment and thats scary

It's because you're on a good case. Idk if you're still in Boston but if so I'd recommend just staying there on the weekends for a little bit to build a roster. Matter of fact, do that in any city you're traveling to. Nothing's worse than just wanting to kick it at the crib when back home but girls at the home office city wanna monopolize your time with bullshyt.
