there seriously isn't one rapper people universally like here
what do you mean, "same product in a different package"
theres nothing new under the sun breh, its not what you do its how its done, and kendrick does it better than anyone else out right now
disliking artists because of dikkriders is only acceptable for some rappers
PS: People discredit GKMC. Why? section.80 had better concepts and more heartfelt beats but GKMC has a better listening experience and better production value, and you connect right away on first listen. It took a couple tries before I could get into section 80 and even now some parts are kinda questionable.

This happens with any rapper that's currently hot so you should be used to it by now. If anything be happy that this time around it's a rapper with an actual grain of talent and substance that's getting some shine for once.
If you could suck up the past 5 years of hiphop where it's been nothing but Lil Wayne, Aubrey, Chief Keef, etc. dikkriding then you should be able to handle it with Kendrick. At least this time around some of it is actually warranted.

Na. The thirst Kendrick's fans have to crown him the GOAT is disgusting; putting him in top 10 all time discussions when he doesn't have the longevity or enough material out yet, comparing GKMC to Illmatic, overrating average ass rappers like Jay Rock just because he's Kendricks man etc; Please.
And his West Coast/Cali stans are the worst of them all, obviously. It's like they finally see a chance to move on from Pac since all he was was a confused vagabond with a big mouth...so they clamor to crown Kendrick the "king"

Being serious, I never really gave Kendrick Lamar a chance. The liked the song HOC he came out with years ago, then recently I heard him do that little freestyle to that kanye "monster" beat and was like 
. So I listen to that album good kid maad city, and no lie that shyt put me straight to sleep 
. Im not really feeling him like that... Look at whos in my avatar, so nikkas can't say I "dont get his lyrics", or that it's beyond me. If I can break down doom lyrics kendrick is like basic math.
