No they did him dirty cause Charlie Weiss went there and stunk the place up and they gave his fat ass chance after chance. Also they never wanted to hire Ty. Ty at first was like hell naw, but the black coaches association and the white media were like you have to take the job because if you don't the large big time colleges will never try to hire a black head coach again.

IIRC, Notre Dame had originally hired George O'Leary because, in their words, he had an irish sounding name.

I thought it was funny that Notre Dame fans thought Charlie Weis was the better hire when it all reality he straight up scammed folks at that school.
