None of this would even be an issue is the word "classic" hadn't been thrown around. If this album was just allowed to exist in it's own space and be judged on it's own merits without having to bring past albums or other stupid shyt like that in the mix, It would stand alone as what it is, a good/decent album.

By putting that stupid fukking word int the mix, you now have stans who won't rest until it's seen as a "certified classic" and is comparable to any and everything, and haters who won't rest until they make every excuse for it not to be considered as such. It's a good album, end of fukking story..

Doesn't help that its overrated to high hell though.

His ability to play with rhythm is the only thing that honestly impresses me about Kendrick. Even that can be hard to appreciate though, depending on how irritating his vocal pitch is on a given song.

He isn't the monster lyricist he's made out to be either. His syllable work is standard. I don't recall hearing any great wordplay or anything like that from him.

Even thematically I see nothing moving about his work. GKMC is a cliched morality tale.
