no, you must have missed when he spit in her face before she hit him

Pretty much... she walks by him and he spits on her and she hits him lightly... then he waits until they get in a secluded area in the elevator and spits on her again and punches her... she comes towards him and he knocks her out. To me, dude has a woman beater aura around him. A man in rage who is defending himself doesn't restrain himself until he gets into an area where he thinks it is secluded and then unloads.

There's a complete difference in defending a woman beater, aka a man who uses his physicality to bully and intimidate women and a man who is defending himself or retaliating after being constantly harassed by a woman. I gave Ray the benefit of the doubt until this video came out because supposedly she was striking and spitting on him, but this video clearly shows Ray doing the spitting and hitting without any real provocation.

I defended the cat from mcdonalds where the women attempted to jump over that counter and come after him or the cleveland bus driver who was being harassed and provoked and I would defend Jay Z who got attacked in the elevator, had he chosen to strike back... but in this case Ray Rice was 100% wrong.
