I'm not picking sides on which site is better, but TheColi would've benefited a long time ago if moderation were more swift and thorough, with a low tolerance for troublemakers.
Moderators who are fair and impartial make online forums, groups, pages, and other platforms more accommodating for their users.
The problem with TheColi and, I guess you could say, DapCity, among other places, in general, is that the mods and a segment of members are all best of pals, y'know “buddy's buddies,” with each other, so what happens is that you get moderation that can sometimes be biased and unfair. Some people get banned, bushed, censored for less, while those who've done far worse, on numerous occasions, started trouble, etc., seem to have unlimited lives.
Generally speaking, mods on any site or social media platform should be individuals who are relatively unknown to their members and have little to no stake in online/offline relationships with users, for example, someone such as myself. This way, you have a fairer system, and nobody feels like they're being purposely targeted, etc.
