Acclimatizing to a new website has a learning curve, and considering most people posting on forums are likely washed and set in their ways - all those features will not mean much to a lot of folks

Yeah like 95% of posters here have been posting amongst the same people for over a decade

And it’s one thing if that meant something constructive ultimately came of it but folks are here because it’s largely routine.

Coli grew away from SOHH and initially thrived but never really grew up because that was a necessity to survive. So many ideas were impossible to safe guard against folks who lurked but the age of forums fell to other platforms and social media.

Of we all move on to another site, what’s next aside from everyone getting older and older. 14 years post SOHH is a long ass time but in some way this is how people defined “friendship” even though 99% of us never met in real life.

One thing we do know is it will end one day.
