Merge these sites and call it a day..actually, nah..all the c00ns, incels and magas ran over there.

this is not true. one of the pros for dapcity is that a lot of that shyt gets moderated over there. what is true is that some of the folks that were banned over here and/or lost access to their coli log-in info - have made accounts/started over over there (also, open registration, which is a must for a new site) whether these are good things long-term remains to be seen

i do think the fragmentation of both sites has/will lead to a poorer experience on both sites, ironically. i can't really fault people for not wanting to abandon like 2 decades of posting, their archives etc, and i'll be real starting over and/or keeping up with two sites (especially when one doesn't have the activity) just feels like too much work at times. similarly, i'm not mad at folks that find the situation of this site untenable long-term; +170k bots just slowing down the site to a crawl on any given day is crazy. accessing thecoli is pretty much russian roulette these days - you never know if today is the day the bullet will finally put an end to this

in an ideal world, thakeaf and bnew and them would take over ownership/management of thecoli, which i believe they tried/wanted to do at one point, but that ship has sailed

Yeah DapCity has a nice website but it really does lack the rawness and the personality that makes thecoli so dope. You got alot of over zealous mods and ran off posters too eager to enforce rules and police thought and whatnot.

Feels like what would happen to thecoli if Brook sold it to a big time white corporation. It's no real interesting topics or people over there, it feels like I'm at the coffee bar at work while I'm posting tbh whereas thecoli feels like I'm at the park getting runs in. When thecoli shuts down I'm done with message boards.

More is not always better, Coli it's the sweetspot (it coild use some fat trimming with the smileys though)
