You don't have to go that far back, just look at the Sixers five years ago, the Raptors and Hornets 6 years ago...teams had no shooters and shot so many bricks. Game was ugly to watch.

In the early 90s teams were still scoring high numbers then it got super physical in the mid 90s

Games were super physical in the 80s and early 90s too, that’s not why the numbers dropped...like physicality doesn’t slide down for years, peaks in one era, then slides back down as y’all say it did after

Either it slid down on a scale THROUGH the 90s and continued sliding, or it continued ascending through the 90s, but there isn’t a vast gap in physicality between those eras, physicality wise (as if there’s a quantifiable amount of that lol)
