Hoyer was never good though. They won in spite of him. Get the ball to Gordon and Cameron and have the defense do just enough to pull out the win.
No one said he was good. The only people who did are the of the moment teenaged girls who exaggerate everything. Hoyer is what he is. I don't understand how someone's going to say shyt like "hoyer regressed" as if he was any good to begin with and as if he has gotten progressively worse over a long period of time.
