See after witnessing him and gallo in NY I considered them interchangeable. It was odd how one would have a good game and the other would go quiet, and vice versa. In a way losing gallo doesn't have a negative effect on the team since wil just fits right in. The only concern I always had with either of them is consistency. Dudes have a breakout game and have 6 points the next.
losing Gallo is a negative, no matter how you look at it. right now that Iggy-Brew-Chandler trio is making up for his absence with incredible defense that's fueling our running game, but when we're forced to execute in the half court, we'll miss Gallo's playmaking, ability to get at the line at a high rate (and actually knock them down) and clutch shooting. his absence is going to put more pressure on both Dre's and Ty to create offense when the game slows down, and it's yet to be seen if Karl is going to give the French Revolution Evan Fournier big minutes in a playoff game.
we need Lawson to be consistent every game since he's the engine of our offense, but we're so insanely deep that we don't need Gallo/Wil scoring 25+ every night. I don't see them as interchangeable but complimentary. we're at our most effective when they're both in the game.
