Abdul-Jabbar about Howard: Perfect example of the fact that potential has a shelf life

^ I Agree with this, but why did he wait til dwight made a personal basketball decision to throw a fellow black athlete under the bus? Why Wasn't he saying dwight was trash before the lakers signed the nikka? lakers is the same org. who waited years to give this nikka a statue and he captain saving a hoe for them now? this is some bytch ass shyt, it's almost like dwight fukked his bytch and he waited until he left town to throw dirt on the nikka. Kareems one of the greatest of all time, but quotes like this is ridiculous.

He's entitled to his opinion.

He didn't wait till Dwight left L.A. to show his disdain for him... He said when Dwight first got to LA (or maybe even when he was in Orlando), that he offered to help Dwight with his offensive game and Dwight sort of gave him the cold shoulder.

How cocky or naive can you be, not to respect and take knowledge from the greatest offensive center of all time?

It'd be like Ray Rice shunning Barry Sanders like: "pssshhhhhh... I got this old man... It aint really nothing you can teach me"...

Either that, or he didn't care to improve his craft.... Which is just as bad, if not worse than thinking Kareem couldn't benefit him at all.

my disdain for coward is out front, I'm not going to support him and wait til he leave my team to discuss his shortcomings.

^^^ Don't ignore my post.

Just say you didn't know Kareem had already called him out before and call it a night.

Kareem is an idiot. Nothing he says matters. No one who matters would hire him for a coaching job because he like many other former lakers are insufferable douchebags. Shaq is entering that realm.

Big Difference Between " I Offered Dwight Assistance, He hasn't reached back to me not sure why he hasn't" versus " I offered dwight assistance, he didn't accept my assistance that's why he will forever be lost potential trash"

The irony is that for as bytchmade as everybody likes to remind us that Dwight is, Lakers greats, fans & current players have all showed the bytch in them over the last few days

Kobe, Jodie Meeks, Ice Cube, Kareem, Shaq :whew:

I thought the Lakers didnt really want Dwight? :lupe: :smugfavre:

Kareem been calling Dwight a fraud. You just haven't been paying attention.

Just last month a reporter asked him if he would be willing to work with Dwight to teach him the sky hook. Kareem responded with "At least he'd have an offensive move."

Kareem been calling him out, fool.

shyt is annoying as fukk.

Seems like Lakers players are just as pig headed about the "aura" of Purple and Gold as are the fans.

I'm getting turned off by all of this shyt. "The Lakers choose you!! You don't choose the Lakers" mentality is a farce.

The more and more I think about it, the more I see Dwight had a reason to leave. Management never gave him the keys, so he drove elsewhere, so they're mad.
