50 CENT PALS GET POPPED. 3 in SUV fired on outside Qns. clubTHREE MEN linked to tough-guy rapper 50 Cent were shot at while inside a sport utility vehicle in Queens belonging to the superstar rapper's G-Unit crew, cops said yesterday. Two of the men were wounded - one seriously - while the third was arrested for stashing weapons, ammunition and a Kevlar vest beneath the bullet-ridden SUV, police said. The men were sitting in a black Chevy Suburban outside Club Adventura on 144th Place in Jamaica when they came under fire at 11:30 p.
m. Thursday, police said. Jesse Brown, 21, was shot in the chest, left arm and buttocks, while Nicholas Sloane, 21, was hit once in the thigh, police said. The third man in the SUV, 24-year-old Leroy Pressley, sped them to Jamaica Hospital where they were in stable condition yesterday, police said. Pressley's mother claimed a man running down the street dropped the weapons at her son's feet before cops arrived. "I don't know nothing. I just leave it in God's hands," said the woman, who lives in the Jamaica Houses with her son. The men have been under police surveillance and investigators have connected them to G-Unit, the rap group founded by South Jamaica native 50 Cent, police sources said. Detectives were probing whether the shooting was connected to the rap industry. Pressley was arrested 90 minutes after the shooting when investigators linked the SUV with the gun battle, police said. A glove in his pocket matched a glove found at the shooting scene, the sources said. Thirteen 9-mm. shell casings were recovered at the scene. None of the men has been cooperating with detectives, and all have rap sheets, cops said.

An associate of mega-rap star 50 Cent was arrested yesterday in connection with the shooting of two other cronies of the chart-busting singer during an argument near a club in Queens.
Leroy Pressley, 24, a convicted drug dealer, was grabbed as he stood near a parked 2004 Chevy Suburban – registered to 50 Cent’s company – that matched the getaway car in Thursday night’s double shooting near Club Amazura at 144th Place and Archer Avenue in Jamaica.
The gunfire erupted at about 11:35 p.m. when a burst of more than a dozen shots rang out from a 9 mm automatic, critically wounding Jesse Brown, 21, in the chest and hitting Nicholas Sloane, 21, in the leg.
Despite the wounds, the victims managed to drive themselves to Jamaica Hospital.
About 90 minutes later, cops from the NYPD Gang Unit cruised the neighborhood frequented by denizens of the rap world and spotted the black Suburban, with Connecticut license plates and a bullet hole near the driver’s door, parked in front of 114-34 167th St.
Standing about five feet from the car was Pressley, who was taken into custody after cops found a bulletproof vest, two 9 mm guns, three boxes of ammunition and a leather glove that matched one found in Pressley’s pants.
The 5-foot-10, 270-pound Pressley was charged with two counts of weapons possession.
Cops could not immediately determine the motive for the shooting be cause neither of the victims – both of whom have minor criminal records – was cooperating with detectives.
Cops do not believe the shooter was Pressley, who was released from prison in May 2003 after serving two years for assault and drugs.
Police believe Pressley and the victims were known to be “part of 50 Cent’s entourage.”
Benjamin Brafman, the lawyer for 50 Cent, said the rap star, who hails from Hollis, Queens, and whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was in Canada shooting a movie at the time of the incident “and had nothing to do with it.”
Brafman could not say what connection Pressley and the victims had with 50 Cent or how one of dozens of vehicles registered to 50 Cent’s “G-Unit” company was apparently involved in a shooting.
“Sometimes rich people take care of friends,” a law-enforcement source said.
Sloane was treated and released. His sister, who declined to reveal her name, would say only that “he’s a good brother” and was already away for the weekend.
