Yall better wake up to whats going on out here.. especially you Coli people who work customer service. Yall gonna be the first wave of people with no jobs in the future.

Im telling my son now, he better start learning how to FIX machines or software.
I agree with this but this is also most of America. If they don't do something to keep all those poor afloat it will be anarchy.

Ain't gotta pay payroll to cut checks to employees that don't exist.
Fully automated is straight revenue unless there's a malfunction.
Franchise owners don't have to take time to hire people.
Gets rid of human error and waste, it is more efficient.
Franchise owners can still make rent on the property.
Downside, skyrocketed property taxes if rent increases from this.
You see self check-out. Just like that.
Working at McDonald's is low wage, low skill labor for a first or second job.
They talking about passing bills to pay fast food workers twenty-two an hour.
That's more than enough for McDonald's to rethink their employment methods.

You’re typing a weird as fantasy on here

Its happening now..its so gradual that it avoids any anarchy you brought up. People dont see it coming. Nobody even complains about self check out
I can understand some automation things like self checkout are logical imo as you are still keeping people employed just making them more efficient as you have a couple of people helping just not actually on the register. They've been making work places more efficient for 100 years basically.

Now when you try to eliminate an entire staff that's a different territory imo. If that happens just because it's gradual it's going to be problems when you have that many people with nothing to lose.

It needs to get scrapped. I'm pretty sure that when places like McDonalds gets planning permission to run their businesses in certain areas, they present their case with jobs they'll create.

If they're no longer creating jobs, they need to make way for a business that will.
