Notice his shot is in front of him and releases lower point and more in front of him. Its nicely lined up but being so low it's easier to block.

Anyone can hit jumpers during practice. It’s how they do during games and some of the best hoopers in the world can’t hit shots in game. Lights too bright, pressure busts pipes

It think he got hurt just like monte ellis in a so called little known atv or dirtbike accident. That I saw mentioned once but never much more of.
