The thing that got me was when Joe Budden was talking about this record and people are tryna say it's the song of the summer over Not Like Us. Joe was basically saying that can't be possible because the only place you hear this Million Dollar joint is TikTok :heh:
That’s legit the only place I’ve heard it

I never heard this till this Flex video.

The track sounds like some 1980s synth music, mixed with alternative, mixed with funk.

I don't think it's bad. But it feels like it's digging hipsters out of their graves.

What's he saying Tim beats? It has 808 bits.

I don't know I can't take Flex seriously since that video of Llyod Banks rapping perfectly on his show, next to him....and Flex was on his cell phone out of the moment.
hipsters dont listen to hot97 :heh:

youre thinking of nostalgia waves. 80s/90s/early aughts styles are popular again because corporations are out of ideas for their industry plants. they look at cyberpunk2077 and retrowave songs like blinding lights by the weeknd and ape those styles and force them into the market. and it works. people actually like this crap.

you can see it throughout modern music history. like when pop punk was big again in the early aughts, even tho those bands were just recycling the sounds of bands like the buzzcocks and husker du. if you listen to metal you'd see there's a lot of bands still stuck in the 1980s.

personally i would love to see old school hiphop styles come back. maybe they will one day.

the industry plant shyt is so weird. I truly believe most people don’t know what that term actually means.

The song is hot because it’s catchy as hell, nothing else sounds like it and it caught fire on tik tok.
Plenty of catchy music is posted erry day. It's about the money placed behind it and the sudden media push and coverage. People are smart enough to know what's organic and what's forced usually.

Mr Payola aka "I'm not playing any west coast albums" bka Desiigner getting my cosign despite being teriyaki ass cheeks with the freestyles, talking about industry plants, when his bop it head ass was the sole reason of why hip hop is fukked from the up jump.

Spare me the old man babble, the song is a bop and slow and reverb that bih for the trifecta :banderas:
