Facts you can almost say you can just ride to it without any skips .

Only discovered after being on a road trip.
Y'all tweak'n trying to take those road trip tour spins as a real actual review. The recession only had two replay value records and is just a mediocre long player.
that was released at best.
Especially, as far as standouts.
that could be listed on a playlist of jeezy's best in his discogrpahy.

Plus after the cte record.
Jerzy was in life support and never really recovered since that actual release as well.
Past, prime minister, trapp'n ain't dead to the summer of bore.
that all white every thing rocked.
In an anemiac time that it was the record to re-bolsters jeezy's draw after it was damaged beyond repair.
To the original platinum drawing envelope.
of jeezy's original relaunch on defjam after trap or die the mixtape.

Art Barr
As far as ti.
After it was established that ti did not really wrote the technical uptick in skill that bolster thr relaunch failed draw from I'm serious.
to trap music the mixtape to the original release of the 24's single.

So ti is harder to look at in the same vein as jeezy because it was known since inception that jeezy was gw. Plus was defjam's most obvious ploy into thr prison industrial economy way of making music wholeheartedly and brazenly public with no regard to actual hiphop culture based ideals whatsoever moving forward.

So in that I know i was never duped as s critic to believe that ti was as skilled as his music and pr portrayed.
With jeezy it was always marketed and presented as the day defjam publically souled't completely out brazenly in every possible way culturally yo what the new school way of thought is in the culture of hiphop. With that i think jeezy has had the better slight of hand communication act meets mother group thing going on.
With that i think versus is so blatsntly commercial and no hold barred that ti could be so far more commercial than her just off pr marketed perception.

That ti could win just based off of that.
Yet i would like to believe that jeezy would win this rather overwhelmingly given the criteria. When the actual records get played with reckless versus battle abandon with no strategy. So, Jada the solo artist can use the draw from features he really was in the remix of. Or just a bds feature included draw but not a real grassroots draw for that actual feature or level of mainstream feature. That jada was featured on but still can take credit for in draw. As he is featured on classic drawing record.
Yet not the actual draw in timeline for the record frfr.

Since there are no groundwork rules in versus. To make the criteria match for said artist across gens. Like there should have been for the Jada kiss vs fab battle. Which should have been a solo record versus solo record battle. Not a sales spike I was on this feature by proxy battle but was never the draw or stand out feature versus on this record.
Ol Pac and the outlaws phoney draw based type games.
No real nikkaz should have ever fell for but whatever.

If This was a real battle.

With real skilled cultural figures.
We would be talking about the records and the versus. Not a bunch of ghostwritten hoodu fake toy house duck emcee bullshyt.

That versus seems to have imolanted into t and makes it trash as a battle.
in regards to culturally whatPlus a full misappropriation of hiphop culture as a gateway and the pillars wholeheartedly.

Art Barr

fukk a versus....
shyt,.... fufu as that thang.
not to mention it begins the jeezy has proficient ghost written rhymes.
way above his real non existant lack of emcee ability.
So it has this weird dope versus from a nikka.
who would not have a technically sound dope versus and makes for a weird offbrand listen off top. When jeezy was jeezy because he was the voice over talent that could not rap but had this real content. That allowed him to be given a chance to rap.
while adhere'n to low brow to mainstream commercial sellout prison industrial economy based ideals.

It will take the same level of gamesmanship and trap setting jada did to fab.
With no rules and no mistakes for ti to potentially beat jeezy.

As jeezy is the rapper who was purposefully made and marketed.
to defy any and every cultural adept more in hiphop new school way of thought history.

While sonically being so pleasing and next level in mastering to the entire industry. That regardless of where you are predisposed culturally.

The sonic ear candy is so good .
That even the most staunch culturally driven audiophile after intitial listen will nut give a general fukk about what was being misappropriated at all whatsoever on initial feral instance.

Jerzy as made to be the hottest shyt ever sonically mastered and engineered with no regard.
So anyone released from 2003 till now.
Will have to expertly play their discography to beat jeezy.

As jeezy is thee actual artist made to defy any and all culturall or audiophile staunch anything period.

I don't care who the fukk you are.

You could be ras to the most neo soul driven nikka.

You turn jeezy on and ferrally it got you period.

It ain't no fake in that.

Jerzy is the industry cultural exception to the rule.
The lead chief by purposeful brazen misappropriation based rapper.
by pure top shelf executed prison industrial economy design.

You can not deny soncially what jeezy is when you pop that shyt in period.

Jeezy is the difference maker legacy artist of the generation.
including why things kinda are, the way they are.
solidly from that exact artist and prison industrial marketed close of an era.

Jerzy = the conclusive fruition of what run dmc meant.

fif was the one who was ducking tip
tip is cleaning up fif

tip probably gonna beat jeezy

wwhy is flex on jeezy's dikk?
50 said who he wants to battle. He doesn't want to battle nikkas beneath him. He won't battle d4l, even Luda etc either. If migos called out Bone Thugs and bone thugs said no, are they ducking? If I challenged Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder to 12 rounds I would not say they ducking me for turning me down. Despite the improvements in my taebo classes breh.

Flex does raise a point. Jeezy did touch nerves in hood. That snow man tshirts were banned from all the schools in Queens. I like T. I but he right. Jeezy had a big influence. T. I behind Ross, Wayne and Jeezy. Doesn't mean he wack. But he ain't the king.

Flex is corny. But he raises some good points sometimes during this, about not seeing Wayne, Ross etc and ducking Busta but then ruins it all with the mcgriff jokes etc.

I'm from Queens, never hustled, not a street nikka but we all know street nikkas. Anyone of them would do that advert, get a deal/plea and be back on the block. And be telling everyone "did you see me on TV talking that shyt?" while doing businesses. And the hood would laugh.

I dunno the details of t.is case but I dont recall anyone saying t.i snitched on em. Can't believe imma say this but I actually respect the judge on that case for having t.i do those ads rather than sit in a cell. Am I wrong here brehs? Is my lack of street knowledge on display?

Jeezy only two albums worth of material, the Recession was wack and everything he put after that was extra wack

I mean What you know about that, Jeezy literally coppied that with I luv it on his second album

as far as album cuts

TI gonna suprise cats with songs they don't know about like this

Recession was wack? Yeah no need to ready anymore after you say some dumb shyt like that.

It was, it was a 100 percent commercial album, it was wack, no classic joints on that whole album

Says no one but you. :camby:

That Recession album was downfall of Jeezy's career and he hasn't recovered since, but you never went outside anyway

this ain't your culture lmao

A lot of people have Recession as Jeezy's best album. That definitely wasn't his downfall. Not only was it one of his best albums, but it was also one of the best albums of 2008. I would even put it over Paper Trail and Carter 3.

Jeezy's "decline" wasn't even his fault. During that whole beef with Ross, Def Jam prioritized Ross over Jeezy. "Lose My Mind" was one of the hottest songs of Spring/Summer 2010, but they never locked down a release date even after the remix with Drake. 103 didn't drop until late 2011 and by then the momentum had dwindled. It would be dope if he dropped a mixtape of those Kanye songs he had from that era. Jeezy had an interview with XXL where he spoke highly of the songs Kanye produced. I think one of them was called "Hot Girl".
