It was alright might be my west coast bias, but I always feel like Juan Ep interviews are superficial and just good for fun, campy stories. Yes, the Puff stories were fun, but did we really need to hear Flex struggle over Cold Crush and etc, it felt like once Flex just started talking and the other two just feel back the episode picked up and finished strong

As he alluded in the interview, I think the best records Flex broke were some of the underground tracks. It's one thing to break or premier the big artists record but to break an underground joint is something totally different. I remember he use to play Jigmastas, Cella Dwellas, Artifacts, Camp Lo during primetime radio hours. I remember when he was the first mainstream DJ (outside Stretch and Bob or Martin Moore) to play Mos Def pre Blackstarr era. I think it was the song Universal Magnetic that he broke on his show. Also like what Rosenberg said, I remember when he use to run back East Flatbush Projects Tried By 12 as well. Moments like that, you ain't going to get on the radio again.

Did he talk about that lil kim/ 50 cent shooting?

Why would he talk about that? Just asking. Was he involved somehow?

But even so i think Flex is "bigger" than some shooting that happened between artist plenty of years ago. Flex got alot more to talk than that tbh.
