Nobody looks to Dre and Kanye as the pinnacle of lyrical rap, those two were never in that category. Drake is the dude running things, so if he's using full verses that weren't written by him, that changes everything.


It's like hearing that Proof actually ghostwrote for Eminem the whole time, and then when he died, that's when he 'fell off'.

But most so called real hip hop fans always said Drake wasn't that "nice" in the first place. So now that he might have used ghost writers all those mediocre tracks are now considered great and examples of lyricism?
