I personally don't care for the whole authenticity or writing your own stuff or not, just like I mentioned in the other thread.

Nearly all of these artists wrote their own stuff at one point, most likely before they got fame. Bu plenty of them eventually find that to keep up with the pace of the entertainment industry, they get writers to help keep them exposed.
