The amount of hype thrown at this album is what made it suck for me.

From the dream talking about how "he's more aggressive now that he has a child"

To the photos with producers and top tier artist.

To not being able to click on shyt on YouTube without seeing this stupid ass commercial about "dualities".

To him going plat before the album drops....

I thought Jay Z was so rich he could do whatever and sell now so he might want to do something artistic/good for Hip Hop. It was the hype before the album, the commercials and all that shyt lol, I thought by taking it back to the essence he was just gonna drop a classic album. I thought BP3 had some good joints, Empire State Of Mind, Thank You and other joints I really liked, on most of his recent albums, but this one is the one I'm feeling the least. Not that many redemptive qualities to me.
