I remember when I only used to like black comedy for the most part, but its seemed to fall off so bad. Maybe I'm missing too much amateur stuff. Comic view and def jam used to have me on point

Black comedy, similar to hood movies, has stagnated and too fukking predictable these days. You know shyt is hurting when a mildly funny guy like Kevin Hart is the king of comedy. shyt needs a overhaul.

I was mega late on it, but I finally watched Louis CK's "Chewed Up" a couple weeks ago.

Laughed my ass off.

most of the obvious 1's been named already, but if u got netflix check alonzo bodden's "is any1 paying attention", i wasnt expecting much when i threw it on cuz i never heard of him, but that shyt is official. hes not as "hood" as say deray, epps, or kat 4 that matter, but i think thats 1 of his strengths, i was kinda suprised at how good it was by the end..............

I agree. Though I like him personally (meaning, I think he's a decent guy), he's not that funny. He channels Eddie Murphy (who's stand up was hilarious) a lot. I half-expect him to break into his laugh, at times. I love stand up but Black stand up has been :yuck: for a while. Donald Glover is cool but I'd like to see a revival of those old shows to hear a fresh perspective.

Other than John Ritter and a couple of exceptions, I hate physical/obnoxious comedy and scumbag comedy (I slept with X and didn't even bathe before meeting up with Y). Old Paula Poundstone, D. Chappelle, and Carlin cracks me up.
