Stop it, the real reason hip hop is in the state its in is because of nikkas like Wayne, Drake, Kanye etc..
let me break it down.
Hip hop was street from the time it was created til lets say 2006.
2007 is the snap era really took off, hip hop was still street then, but it was getting more poppish.
Then with the game as weak as it was, Lil Wayne became the hottest rapper.
Think about it, this dude is the hottest rapper in the world, yet hes dressing like a homo, kissing dudes, wearing spandex, and making "hit songs" like lollipop. Wayne got you stans thinking his shyt was rap music when its really not, that shyt is as pop as it gets
To make things worse look at the talent he finds.
His two biggest stars, Nicki Minaj, Drake.
Now dont get me wrong Drake has bars, but he aint THAT damn nice
Drake basically embodies the type of black man, that white America wants to see on TV, music wise. Soft, safe, and says some corny/catchy lines here and their that they can quote and dance too.
Then Nicki Minaj, I dont really think I have shyt to explain here. Shes not hip hop, at all. If you like her music thats cool(even tho a grown man shouldnt like or relate to her music but thats just me), but dont sit and here and act like shes hip hop. That's the thing, I really think some of you idiots dont understand the damage that comes from supporting people who water down and take the purity out the culture.
You can't keep supporting these nikkas who go out of their way to appeal to white america, make pop records, dress like trannies and kiss men, then turn around and complain about how soft hip hop is, how feminine it has gotten or how some so called "white invasion" is taking over hip hop.
If you're going to keep supporting TRASH, then don't get mad when this TRASH brings(signs) more TRASH to the game, and in return help more TRASH blow up in the game
