Yeah, now that I think about it, the color pallette was too bright. Everyone knows in reality all color is muted dark blues, and grays.
Dom was smiling at the beginning too, real heroes don't smile, they are tortured and just a second from killing themselves because the world is so terrible.

Red head Game of Thrones Travelocity dude only shot one person in the whole movie and it wasn't exactly a hard shot to take...

Yet when it's time to kill Dom's team...that is already getting rockets shot at them by military vehicles and torpedo's shot at them by nuclear subs...Red pulls out a sniper rifle from atop a grassy knoll and they build it up like he is going to perfectly be able to hit cars driving 200 mph on ice weaving in and out of gunfire, rockets, and torpedo's


Movie was entertaining but it's basically a high budget bad sci fi movie...shyt is basically Carnado...

Everything about this movie was absurd... and I loved it

I don't know how they can top the scenarios they've already had in the franchise though. I think space would be too over the top, so maybe racing down an active volcano that's erupting?

I missed out opening weekend was doing other shyt but we went this weekend

It was a step up from Furious 7, I'll say that much. there were some legit funny parts with The Rock and the chemistry between him and Statham was dope, I can see why Universal would want that spin off. Every time Hobbes and Shaw were on-screen about to throw down was jokes followed by action just beatin everybody ass..

The car scenes in NYC were cool but the Russian winter stole the show. That was a cool set piece. We had tanks, missiles, submarines, an orange lamb

At the end when Nathalie Emmanuel was in them jeans I luv that curly hair goddess

I'd give this a solid 7/10. It ain't touching Fast Five or Furious 6. The original will always remain in my top two. I got 2 Fast 2 Furious on rn on cable

So, so, so dumb. Does ANYTHING in this movie work like it does in real life? Cars, planes, subs, ice, the human body, babies, the internet, guns, glass, fire...?

Honestly, I think Diesel is dragging this franchise down at this point. Statham and Johnson have a much better feel for the absurdity of where this story has gone.

Stick that same complaint in a comic book film thread. It's a dumb complaint because this is what the franchise is known for.


Secondly,vin diesel is the center of the franchise. Suggesting he's dragging the franchise down when people love his character,and the main selling point of the film was his character and why he had turned shows a further lack of understanding of what makes the franchise what it is.

It's not "mad arrogant" or whatever, and I'm not insulting him for his views. It's just his views show he really doesn't understand the franchise or why it's successful.

He doesn't need to like the franchise or understand it. It's probably just not for him. There's nothing wrong with that.
