I definitely fukk with his music and think he has a couple of lanes he does well, but yea, dude is as cliche as a rapper gets. This article didn't provide anything I wouldn't have surmised about future from looking at him and sitting thru one project of his.

I like a good amount of his music, but yeah the profile is a cliche, and I suspect he's a bit of one too, his music is only introspective in the slightest of ways for the most part, and there doesn't seem to be any real pain or real hustling, I can feel someone like Gates, despite his antics, or a Nipsey...Fufture seems way more like a Drake to me. .....He doesn't seem smart or deep, except in the odd mention here or there about school. The over reliance on strippers and lean is tiresome...I have no real stake in the gossip fueled world of his custody battles, but rambling to strippers and driving a ferrari leaned out of your mind doesn't sound like a great role model for a 3 year old from my perspective.

i think if its cliche its more the fault of the writer. i feel like all rap interviews with music mags like RS kinda follow the same pattern. even within rap themed joints like XXL. they really only try to touch on the same topics. if they did one for gates itd be prolly the exact same.

same with the other genres too really though. the artist profile is pretty boilerplate. id almost prefer a future interview with playboy over an artist profile in rolling stone. playboy might try to get deeper and not just take you thru the same stuff the music interviewers will

yeah that part was to me cuz its like bro, if my card is declined i wanna be tryna figure out why

but granted, that could be one of a million reasons, just hope future is keeping his finances right, and just was high and pulled out an old card that expired
