If you take the years with Harden then they are equal in terms of success, that much I'll give you. OKC still has a story after Harden leaves, the Magic don't. Not even close after that
cmon breh. youre comparing 2 completely different situations.
harden was the 6th man, and they did a good job at plugging in people after he left. reggie Jackson, kevin martin, dion waiters, etc
Orlando lost shaq & penny. that would be the equivalent of durant leaving OKC in 2013, with westbrook's body falling apart right afterwards.
i cant even call that an equivalent either cuz shaq & penny >>> durant & westbrook.
you mention KD & westbrook missing playoffs with a couple injuries, but you didn't even acknowledge penny's career-altering injuries.
also, youre leaving out how young Orlando was compared to the other elite teams of the era. and MOST IMPORTANTLY, how Orlando was expected to be the next dynasty. the lakers 3-peat was supposed to be Orlando.............meanwhile, we already knew years ago that durant & westbrook were never gonna win a chip together.
