We can literally check streaming numbers now and see if things came and went but in this case it did not.

side note...I love how streaming numbers have killed the "came and went" shyt. Albums like Cardi's, Kendrick's, etc been on the chart forever and are a clear indication that people are consuming the music nonstop. I'd expect Future's album to continue getting steady streams.

I haven't heard all the album but I've liked some of it. Been playing Promise U That a lot.

Streaming numbers ain't killed nothing because the popular artist can get streams off of their music being in other artist playlists. Kendrick and Cardi B had smash hit singles that were everywhere so anybody trying to claim they had no buzz was blantantly hating on them. There ain't one song on this Future project that's a smash hit with street buzz.

"Smash hits" are hard to come by and they aren't needed as much in the streaming era.

There are plenty of songs that are hits in streaming services but not on the hot 100 top 5 10 or 20.

You are thinking with an old school mindset.
