Kendrick is almost like Kanye in that it often feels like he has to make the track his own for it to sound as hot as his own shyt.

Yea he rapped really well but Futures "garbage bars" and "lazy flow" is what this track is perfect for. It's hard to kill a dude on a track like that though, that's his problem. When he does features he's often doesn't try to add to the track, he tries to get the internets to say that he killed the other person. That's why he can kill "spitter features" but not others. This verse would've been as good acapella or over a Katy Perry beat.

Future is like that too low key

If he doesn't create the structure and vibe of the song he's pretty bad on the feature

But this is a weak ass remix. Future didn't even add anything and Kendrick managed to take away from it.

I think he should just do features with TDE and Dreamville. They mesh a lot better than Future/Migos etc.

Kendrick strong point isn't riding a song unless he makes it his own kinda like what someone else said before.
