From what I’ve seen going to court is the smart route . If she randomly said one day she need 1000 all them years of paying 800 don’t matter & he’d be looking at way more than 1500 in back pay a month
I've seen this happen so many times. Usually the women will ask for a reasonable amount. The men want to pay almost nothing and would rather go to court. It always ends bad for them.
