"With a net worth of $92.9 billion, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates can buy virtually anything his heart desires — but you won’t find the billionaire blowing loads of dough shopping.

In a 2016 Reddit Ask Me Anything, Gates was asked about the one area where he refuses to overspend: “I don't like spending a lot of money on clothes or jewelry,” the billionaire replied.

It shows. At a 2014 Politico Lessons from Leaders event, the Microsoft tyc00n confessed that he wears a $10 wristwatch, and he has a reputation for dressing simply.

Gates’ close friend Warren Buffett, who once owned a license plate that read “THRIFTY," is another billionaire who refrains from spending serious money on clothing. “I’m happy in a pair of khakis and a sweater,” the Berkshire Hathaway CEO told CBS News in 2013. “I don’t need fancy clothes.”

And President Obama -----

Former U.S. president Barack Obama is also a fan of repeating outfits. In a 2017 interview with Vanity Fair, Michelle Obama revealed that her husband wore the same tux and shoes for eight years straight. “And he was proud of it, too," said the former First Lady.

And Oprah -----

Then there’s Oprah Winfrey, who recently became one of the 500 richest people in the world with a net worth of $4.02 billion. The media mogul opened up about her penny-pinching habits on the OWN network, and said that she saves pantyhose with runs in them so they can be repurposed into DIY Spanx.

I doubt he spends that much but he probably overspends on clothing. They say most people's spending habits are set while they are in HS. Too many Black people spend a lot of their income trying to look fresh in HS and this follows them forever. Get some real money and you hear dumb stories like this.

I don’t necessarily agree with Futures spending but Gates, Buffet, Obama, and Oprah aren’t rap artists trying to sell people a lifestyle of being fly and fukking hoes. This is part of Future’s branded image.

With that said these nikkas exaggerate all the time. He probably spent that once over the month of December Christmas shopping and now he’s just going to say he does it every month.

Ok?? Jerry Jones just dropped $250 million a boat he might be on a few times for the rest of his life.. Dan Snyder just dropped $100 million on a boat...

rich people buying $40 million paintings to hang in they living room

For every example of Oprah you can find an example of Jerry Jones whose probably spent more on coke and hookers in his life time than everyone on this forum will make combined

I hate when ONE PIcture of ONE rich person pops up wearing normal shyt to YOU (not knowing that those Levi looking jeans Bill Gates wears are really $400-500 jeans from Nordstroms :dead: ) and say dumb shyt like "take notes rappers, not a gucci belt in sight"

fukking stupid ass thinking

only so many rappers... hundreds of Gucci stores.. who you think buying all the Gucci belts :martin:
