Everybody who knew him before "Future",even Killer Mike who is one of the best lyricist ever from the south will tell you Future ain't really givin you what he can really give you lyrically...I mean I still like to hear the nikka rap and I think he go hard and show flashes...but he admits to dumbing down bcuz fans ain't tryna hear lyrics....I think its time for him to just get that stupid thought proccess out of his mind.
Trying to get on in ATL I understand why he feel that way...when you see Jeezy before he became one of the best rappers in the game,D4L,Franchise Boyz,Unk etc get hot,how can you believe anything else really? No disrespect to the A,but alotta dudes wuz comin up off that rappin as dumb as possible in the 2000's

Trust me I know, you cannot have a dungeon tat if you about it with the flow,I'm pretty sure he seen how the industry treated the content of Cool Breeze, Backbone, Slimm Calhoun who all dropped better trap muzick than alot of the cats out now or how the industry took the grit out of cee-lo and gipp or the in your face street knowledge of a southern Ice cube in Killer Mike who has industry bodies under his belt, Ice Cube, Outkast(ate them everytime he collabed), Jay-z(got him twice) , Bun-b(4x), Scarface, Ti(alot), Raekwon, one thing about Mike I can say, he didnt water himself down after he got that grammy.
Future seen it first hand, and if shuckin n jivin on wax gone get em bentleys and paid, you got to crawl before you walk.
LOL There is more to music than "complex lyrics." Future is a songwriter first and a rapper second. Not seeing how he dumbed down his sound. Music is a feeling not a textbook. This song isn't something generic like a Miley Cyrus single.
