See, I wanted to hate Future when I first heard him. Thought it was another Based God trolling situation, where people "liked" him to be ironic.

But honestly after checking him out, I was convinced. I have always hated autotune, but after listening to Astronaut Status and Pluto, he's one of my favorite artists right now.

His hook game is not to be fukked with right now, and his ear for beats, if you're into that lane of hip-hop, is impressive. He isn't the best rapper, and he's a horrible singer, but he recognizes where he's talented and runs with it.

Plus...and this has kind of gone unsaid in most of these arguments about him...he's sort of a youth thing. I'm almost 30, there was hesitation about his music from me. 5 years older, I would have completelt rejected his music and not understood it. 5 years younger, I would have ate that shyt up with no second thought.
