Why do you get to decide who is + isn't a part of hip hop culture?
Whats your claim to legitimacy, aside from I'm guessing "growing up in the hood"?
You do realize "outsiders" have been an integral part of hip hop pretty much from day 1, be it Rick Rubin, the Beastie Boys, or the millions of "outsiders" who bought shyt by NWA, Pac, Wu Tang, etc
So what are you talking about?
Nobody is taking you seriously, make no mistake bruh. I will still listen to and MAKE rap music, just as I have for the last 20 yrs. I just think its hilarious how people will completely throw out logic to validate their POV. If dude had the same nasal whiny voice/intonation, appearance, skin color etc but gave the albums positive reviews you wouldn't be on some "nah he aint part of my culture"
Exactly
Its like "if you dont agree w/the consensus I've come to theres something wrong with you" Man dudes kill me
Your the one who is giving my words power. Like i said u dont have to agree with anything im saying, i wouldn't expect u to. Your just upset because i dont except u and Needle as apart of this culture.

"nikka that aint real nikka shyt, put that Ross back on"
) and lyrically Nas was as nice as he's ever been some of the multi syllabic rhymes and word choices he makes are insane.
