FXX to air ENTIRE Simpsons series in longest marathon ever

The last few seasons haven't been that bad, just not as good as the earlier ones. They are much better than the mid-level seasons though. I've seen like every single simpsons episode and I think the last few seasons have been enjoyable. You just gotta have lowered expectations. That doesn't make the show horrible though. I look forward to and enjoy it on Sundays when it's on. Yeah, I probably watch out of habit, but I don't regret it.

I haven't even watched the newer seasons but I bet the writing isn't any worse than it was back in the day, just that you've grown and the brand of comedy isn't as innovative or as trendsetting as it once was.

But I'm just guessing.

I concur. The last few seasons have been good. Not great but just good and even so compared to other sitcoms on TV it's still one of the best

There are some good episodes. "A Totally Fun Thing That Bart Will Never Do Again is a new classic but the problem is they try to be too hip, and random. The references don't fit in, and the stories aren't centered. They need better writers .


plus I cant get into digital animation as well as I can old school animation. It's too clean, and lifeless.

Yeah they're trying to adapt to comedies now when in reality most comedies now are biting their older stuff
