I bought the physical cd used in the 90s. I've since ripped it on my MacBook, but I honestly can't remember the songs. I remember hearing mos def and that gdep song. That was the first time I'd heard either artist.
Yeah I have it too. Has a lot of good shyt on it. Also has " Metal Thangz" Street Smartz Feat. Organised Konfusion

I cannot express how happy this makes me. I've been trying to get my hands on this shyt for years, lost count of the number of times I've asked around for it. Thought maybe it was just one of those things that had been lost from the internet forever. Today is a great day.

I love a lot of songs on this album but there are some bad ones. How is that acceptable beat to give G Rap and Rakim?

So after listening through the OG bootleg version I have some thoughts:

1) This is, indeed, better than the retail. Just the original beat on fukk on the First Night puts it over, let alone cut heat rocks like Whatever

2) After listening to For the Kids (a dope and pretty off-the-wall joint) it trips me out that Bulletproof Wallets and CotG came out the exact same day, considering how similar it is to GFK's The Forest (also obviously an unusual and creative joint). I guess I expect that sort of weirdness from Ghost but from Dep it caught me a bit off guard

i was always mad that "whatever" didn't make the cut and even more pissed that it took me 7 years to find it again, Dep went in on that joint something crazy!
