Malcolm is generic to me, third person storytelling joint about kid fukked up in the hood over soul sample :ld:
I get what you mean but Herb been on some other stuff lately with the more bangers so it was refreshing to here him spit , plus I don't think I've heard Herb storytelling in thirdperson like that

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
G-Herbo never ever rap on beat

It's clear he don't write to the beat
He was always on beat when he was a teenager. His best flow days was when he was 17. He started using that more aggressive flow and became bad at pacing himself. It's more about that than him not writing to the beat. He rushes thru his verses. Someone needs to talk to that nikka.

His flow was way better on Fazoland, it has consistently gotten worse. But I’m such of a big fan that it doesn’t even bother me that much
lol his flow fell off way before Fazoland, his verses on Lil Bibby's Free Crack were when he just said fukk a flow and technical rapping. But I wasn't complaining because his new flow and content was so grimy and disrespectful it literally made me :picard: "who the fukk this nikka think he is rapping at me like that."

I think Herb never wanted to be a true rappity rapper, like the critics and media wanted him to be, he wanted to talk his shyt like a young gangbanger
Can't connect with this album for some weird reason but the intro track is fire
Intro damn near made me wanna tear up.
