I can’t say I’ve had a G Herbo song in rotation before, but this is nice. Even with all the profanity in the lyrics & the bass distortion it’s a smooth record.

guess that's why I like it. Always prefered Bibby & I still think Herb is mediocre and has no place in the XXL Freshman list tbh. + he's sloppy with the way he does/releases things, this track being a great example, I dunno who the fukk mixed/mastered this, but they must've never heard of dynamics processing, compressors & limiters ==

Why u think he doesn't deserve the XXL freshman spot , he can spit but his flow sometimes sloppy imo but Bibby ain't better than him Yea rappers nowadays aren't too good with the idea of mixing and mastering

I've had websites and worked for (much bigger) website since I was 14. I dropped about 10-12 official mixtapes, with contributions from DJ Premier, Cunninlynguists, Wale, Skyzoo, Crooked I, Royce, Hell Rell, Bun B, Termanology to name a few (that's all world premieres, not just dropping old music). I can rap (did about 250K views & national radio once), I been published as a writer (poetry/lyrics) several times, I can make beats, I can mix/master music, I did a few rap battles. I've been up to date on pretty much everything happening in hiphop for the past 10-15 years & know my history before that...so yeah...I think I know enough.
