If I’m just here to help you then I’m cool with that
I don’t wanna but I gotta move with that
If I got my pole then I’m using that
Long as I got my soul I can’t lose with that
I can’t tell my wrongs from my rights
Got me feeling like I been alone all my life
And I been a gangster all my life
Tryna face my fear and shedding tears on my pipe
Way before I gained fame I was living like it
Couldn’t afford a gold chain and I was looking like it
But I ain’t had no dirty sneaks
I was in the trenches, Black gloves for like thirty weeks
heart full of hate no debate Let that thirty speak (Grr)
White tees turn to white sheets
Riding bulletproof New York to Philly, I feel like Meek
I got tired of the streets, I had to give it up (Up)
Then the day I lost my brother, I ain't give a fukk
On a route and if it's more of us, split it up
Rap diss and catch his tour bus, hit it up (Baow)
Witness so much death, it ain't no rules, get a ref' (Uh-huh)
Bust this wide left, they callin' 911, Wyclef (Uh)
I don't know the future, I don't know where I'm going
And I'm with some shooters but I'm blowing
I can't go out sweet, my nikkas need me
Call me hieroglyphics, you can't read me
Remember I lost Kobe cried all evening (All evening)
Took another loss then cried while I’m grieving
We lost Richie Rich we lookin' for seasons (Yeah)
Police on my dikk they lookin' for reasons
I can't do a bid I'm moving strategic (G Herbo)
Forty on my rib guess I'm still a heathen (You know that)
Shot but I'm back on the block, I'm toting and bleedin'
And he got hit like I got hit but he ain't fukking breathin'
This that real dope shyt like I need a needle
This that Lil Heron flow but you don't know him either
Say they want that Lil Herb but you don't know him either
You see me on Instagram but you don’t know I’m evil
This shyt get vicious over here, Danny Glover lethal
I been rapping all year like Nasir on Ether
Sitting with a full plate and I can’t even eat it
Totin' Hammers catching cases still ain’t even beat it (Uh)
I was poor, I decided I ain't living like that no more
Honestly, I ain't lying like that no more
High speeds, I ain't riding like that no more
Lord please, sick of funerals don't want no more of these
Bless me with some mansions and some foreign keys
Bless me with some money no more mourniiiiiing
Let me see my kids in the morning
Praying on my knees, I need a... warning
Ain’t no fury like a woman scorned
Every single rose got a thorn
I used to be whole now I’m torn

What G Herbo does extraordinarily well on this Side A is to combine different sounds, something he has always been able to do, part of the reason so many cherish his work, from working with Benny the Butcher and Gunna on the same project is an important move for the Chicago native, he who has often been overlooked in his career, where people never knew where to rank the rapper.

Tracks like Aye featuring Offset and Blues featuring Future will please many who still look forward to hearing Trap music, with both songs working extremely well, the same applies to Shordie with Gunna, one of the highlights of the body of work in my opinion. With Gunna being Gunna and always representing his style of music proper to himself, the song ends up

being one of the best tracks, with an extraordinary production. For newcomers, G Herbo's rapping style may sound a little aggressive at first, that is until you realize how assertive the rapper sounds, and the levels of confidence that he displays- if you hadn't known by now, listen to FWM.

Songs like Shaderoom and 4 Minutes of Hell, Pt. 6 are reasons why G Herbo doesn't care about his opposition, focusing on his money and the people closest to him. 4 Minutes is a story of G Ss alstory of e Herbo explaining that he is in fact, showing no remorse towards those showing no love and praying on the rapper's downfall. Survivor's Remorse, as the name of the project suggests, merely indicates that the only remorse G Herbo

is showing is one to himself.

Personal songs like Outside Looking In is where G Herbo mentions his life in the third person, talking about his life from a young age, referring to his family and how he saw himself growing up, and feeling the pressure

Survivor's Outro is a good outro (which could potentially set up the second part coming out in a couple of days as a pure intro). Herbo mentions grinding for what he has earned in his career, his changes of moods, in a very nostalgic manner, throughout Survivor's Remorse Part 1, G Herbo has been very open about his life, maybe even more so than he has in the past.

This is similar to the last Yo Gotti album, where both sides of the album are good, but the latter one is noticeably better. A lot of nice songs on here

Old heads want the younger guys to try more and show appreciation to “real hip hop”

Yet won’t give this nikka a chance cuz he also will do songs with nikkas like future and duke deuce :mjlol:
He’s one of the few we don’t have anything negative to say about. I consider myself and circle old heads and we’ve all been enjoying him and Bibby since “kill shyt”.

Even the albums that were “off” were pretty enjoyable. I like that he’s able to go into depth about experiences and feelings. I also like that he can fit right in on a track with duke duece, who we also like.

I hope more future generations look up to them. It may be slight, but they are kind of doing the whole regional sound thing here and there. Same with the younger west coast artists.

I’ll always support artists, no matter the generation, when they put in real effort and exhibit passion and love for creation. Can’t hate on someone for really trying and get mad when they say fukk it and regress. I do get frustrated at all the trippy reds because artist like him can actually spit but then put out gibberish. I hate on the ones that put out generic, uninspired bullshyt.
