why aren't state property or re-up gang mentioned?

1. dipset
2. state property
3. dblock
4. g-unit or re-up gang

g-unit at its best is better than re-up gang, but g-unit got so wack after a while.

Let's be real not many non-NY folks bumped D-Block offline.

how many people actually read the thread title? he said LYRICALLY. but people are in here talking about classics, popularity, etc.

and with that said, state property was the best lyrically. why are they not an option? and wheres re-up gang?

anyway, out of the 3 listed, i'll roll with dblock lyrically.

:comeon: it says musically not lyrically. As for State Property no way they were lyrically better than any of those 3 groups. Then again I didn't like State Prop outside of Beens,Freeway, and O :manny:

Dipset easily, Dipset's C team was dropping classic mixtapes at their peak

real spit.

dipset was so deep in quality. they were like a whole region of rap all to themselves.

Seeing that a "run" would have to be judged on national & international popularity/sales/$ generated, anyone who says G-Unit DOESN'T win hands down is a fukking idiot.

50 alone probably has grossed more money than all of Dipset and D-Block combined. And I'm a DIE HARD D-Block fan. But let's not be stupid. Factor in Game, Banks, Buck and Yayo :mjpls: albums all going at LEAST gold, the quasi-successful clothing line, 2 video games, movies, endorsements, and the group album that was VERY close to classic, this is a fukking no brainer. Kill yourself.

If we're talking skills as a group, lyrically...then it's D-Block > G-Unit > Dipset.

Dipset owned 2001-2004

G-Unit owned 2002-2005

D-Block been more consistent throughout, but compared to those two movements, they were "in the background".

g-unit had bigger success because they had a ridiculously huge machine behind them and appealed to casual audiences - a lot of whom weren't even able to comprehend the chit that the other squads was spittin.
