The beat, the chorus the entire vibe of the track., when I first heard it (without knowing it was a remix) I thought finally a 50 cent song that sounds up to date.
Nobody reacted to the OG version because most people don't know who hitboy is. It just dropped and it takes a while for it to gain momentum

i honestly had no clue, until someone(possibly, you) posted the original in the OG thread minutes after it dropped.. and i was accidentally listening to a HitBoy mixtape the other day..
on the same token, i dont think the average cat would know/heard.. few folks i spoke to last night, had no idea about SummerJam, the robbery, them reuniting or they dropped a new track..
all in all- songs pretty dope.. they need to drop a mixtape ASAP..

Are you serious? The g-unit tapes were remixes of the hottest records out at the time, it was obvious that they were remixes. This hit-boy record is unknown for most people as it just recently dropped, people have barely even heard the record before. If you cant see the difference, I dont know what to tell you
