not gonna front, I thought this was gonna be a mixtape filled with game disses based off of the cover like game did on you know what it is vol 4

I was very disappointed when I first listened, in hindsight its good music but game was going at him so hard I wanted diss tracks not regular tracks with sublims sprinkled here and there:wow:
At the time maybe fif thought ignoring him would make him go away. But looking back fif never had to say anything to game. He ruined his own draw with wack albums starting with lax. Very disappointing esp coming off a 4.5 mic album in doctors advocate. Game hasnt been a commercially viable artist in a decade. Documentary 2.5 is great though.

majority of commercial rap is trash though, glad Game never sold out for a little change. he kept it the way when he first started rapping. nothing but bars. no singing, none of that soft shyt.

True true. But lets not pretend game didn't inspire to be amongst the goats like jay-z, Big, and Pac. And Whats wrong with being commercial ? What artist wouldnt want there shyt heard and loved by the masses. Its just finding that balance. Kendrick Lamar found it with good kid madd city. The streets and the burbs loved that shyt.

there's a thin line between going "commercial" and making hip hop for "the love". guys like Jay-Z, Nas, KRS One, Wu-Tang, The LOX never really made mainstream rap as much of a rapper like Eminem, 50 Cent, Kanye or a Lil Wayne. those 4 i just memtioned compromised their art more than once to gain a different crowd. Game never went that route, and for that i respect him more than these other guys.
