G-Unit vs. Dipset -- who was your favorite?

G-unit back in the day. I couldn’t stand dipset but I’ve come to appreciate them later on. Looking back at both catalogs it’s dips

Same here. At the time I liked g-unit more but in hindsight I think Dipset (certainly as a group) made better music. Diplomatic Immunity is wayyyy better than Beg For Mercy.

But solo wise it’s tough. I still think the first run of G-Unit albums minus Yayo’s (Get Rich, Hunger, Cashville, and Documentary) were really really dope.

And it’s not like Camron, Juelz Santana, and Jim Jones were the 2 D4L members that are rarely talked about or something. For some reason when comparing G-Unit in Dipset lyrically, people act like there’s some massive gap like comparing Wu-Tang Clan to Dem Franchise Boyz

G Unit was better solo and Dipset was better as a group. Neither were my favorite, but I got Dip Set because G-Unit ain't have anything harder than "Dip Set Anthem" or "Get Crunk Muzik".

Literally anytime there was some new big song the hood literally WAITED for 50 to flip it. Anytime a new G-Unit radio dropped that was the first thing they was playing in the barbershop and the mixtape stores.
