We have a similar program in Louisiana free tuition for anyone with atleast a 2.5 GPA and 20 ACT score and it’s basically untouchable status at this point. Any legislation to change it is met with opposition even right now while we have a billion dollar deficit in the state budget

We do it’s just a magnitude of things put us in a deficit. Economy tied to oil and gas and it’s in the shytter right now . And the last Governor fukked us for 8 years cut taxes , gave huge tax breaks to corporations , and used one time money to cover ANNUAL expenses in the budget

I agree, but I didn't argue that point.
I said colonizers are FEELING safe in the era of Trump, more so than in the era of Obama, and even they would agree with this.
People being killed during the Obama presidency is a different conversation. I agree with you, but that wasn't what I was addressing in my original post.
