From what I see the 1960s outside of racism was a respectable time. Black family structure was way more strong at it's core. Women traditional and feminine.

I mean if that's what the kid's into then it is what it is, but "she's" like 12. That's way too early to be making those kind of decisions and Wade's one of my favorite players but how they presented it didn't sit well with me. He waited til he had the doc and was about to get his jersey retired before going public with it. Seems like they wanted the publicity. Why even put a child in the position in the first place?
