The weight difference alone is enough for me.

I actually got bad tendonitis because of the fold weight and using gaming controllers in general.

But the weight fold phones have been since the OG release is really the culprit.

Got my Fold 7.

I understand the thinking about making it slim as a regular phone, but it's so thin it's hard to open. Going to take some getting used to.

Case makers need to add some texture to the sides for grip.

Same got mine in. (Mint color) And it's crazy how thin it is compared to the 6.

Night and day difference, after years of heavy think phones I feel like I'm going to snap this in half at any moment.

I gotta say...

:wow:

As a fold user since the 1st fold (well technically 2nd I couldn't justify leaving what I had for what was offered and with the issues it had) and owning every generation outside 1 and 3 I have to say this phone is absolutely amazing.

I think everything is finally in place from the UI to the hardware (next year's phone should be S ultra feeling magnum opus of the Z fold series, if they can keep it just as thin, improve battery and camera and provide some kind of pen use)

The feeling I have using this phone reminds me of how I felt when I got the S7 edge. It felt premium and something about it just made you want to be a power user. You could tell a shift up in phone tech was coming as a whole.

I get the same feeling with this phone, and while it isn't really Z fold ultra level yet (mainly because of the things I mentioned above) it's riiiight there.:ohlawd:

One of my biggest issues with the folds was even unfolded the size of the keyboards were always just slightly off. Even adjusting the size manually didn't really help because of the screen space available... As y'all probably have seen a ton of the years, crazy typos none stop because of that. To the point friends and family know when I've written something with my phone unfolded, normally or using speech to text. (My southern drawl murders TTS):mjlol:
I guess this post will give an example of how true or false what I'm saying is :mjlol:

Anyway the combo of the bud pro 3 and the fold Z 7 is the GOAT mobile experience right now.

I'm guessing apple has to know this as well and finally gonna shake something up soon (foldable apple phone maybe?)
