MLB is pretty big regionally, but on a national level it is irrelevant
So MLB is big regionally....and those regions are literally spread throughout the entire nation.
But nationally, they are irrelevant.

Crazy how baseball went from my first love out of all the sports to now I literally couldn't name 5 players if a gun was put to my head.

I remember watching Braves games everyday after school on TBS.

Couldn't tellya the last time I watched one single pitch of a baseball game.

They all hispanic now, which I think has caused alot of Americans to lose interest. Nothing but Garcia, Perez, Lopez, and Pena's out there. It used to be Bonds, McGuire, Frank Thomas, Chipper Jones, Mo Vaughn, Darryl Strawberry, etc x 10000.

even the Spanish players had star quality and stood out back in those days... Pedro, David Ortiz, Manny Rameriz, Pudge Rodriguez, Edgar Martinez, Juan Gonzalez etc.
