Are console players actually implying that this isn't happening on consoles this gen? It's been an ongoing trend for years and appears to only be getting worse on the consoles.

On the PC they get blasted even harder for pulling that shyt. Console players are really fukked because they can't even get refunds physical OR DIGITALLY. shyt is completely fukked for them.

They didn't send out review codes for the PC version, they knew exactly what they were doing.

In the case of the Batman series, it always was fairly well optimized for the PC, people were buying it off gp because they had good history, if everyone knew Iron Galaxy handled the port nobody would have bought this shyt though.

Also, when it comes to PC games we expect some shytty optimization at times, but with the power difference being so wide between PC and consoles it's expected that you can just brute force it to get the game to 1080p 60fps, this game is so poorly done even the most powerful hardware is struggling at times.

Now give one good reason why a company wouldn't send out review codes. Maybe a company not wanting their product to be reviewed should be a red flag, maybe not.

People assumed that from the good history of previous installments that this one would be good as well.

Somebody has to blindly buy it

Let's make any and every excuse in the book to take responsiblity away from ourselves as far as developers constantly releasing subpar, unfinished releases

Don't buy it, it won't turn a profit, devs rethink strategy when it comes to releasing unfinished games.

You don't want buggy unfinished products, pay for the games that deliver and pass on the ones that don't. Don't buy into hype and marketing

Lmao yep. Day-Z for example has been one of the most popular and successful PC games for the past 5 years, and it's an unfinished, buggy mess. Basically these hardcore PC gamers pick and choose what they whine about.

Bethesda has games that have been out for years now and haven't been fixed that have released with game breaking bugs. Look how many of these same fakkits whining about shyt like this, dikk riding them in other threads

Bethesda made this hot to do in the industry

You can get refunds with a sealed game. You don't have to play it. You can check twitch

Yeah, the small majority of those who keep the games sealed and WAIT to read all the consensus instead of playing it.

The console players trying to stretch this out as a W are ridiculous. It's a problem industry wide regardless of platform.

The irony and flat out stupidity in this post and its coming from the same person who has fallout preordered so don't complain about a practice you actively support and encourage.

I pre-ordered to profit, if I DO decide to keep one no money is out of my pocket :snoop:

Its not my problem if people have no self control with their money. Preordering anything is a risk that you take.

Not going to get into the PC vs Console thing, but in general, I never pre-order games unless there some dope pre-order reward or some exclusive maps associated with the pre-order.

People really drop money on pre-orders for skins and shyt though, which I never understand.

If you're confident enough to cop a game before you have it in your hands, you have to take the good and bad that can come with it. These games really aren't going anywhere, lol... it doesn't hurt to NOT buy them day 1 or in some cases months before they even drop. They'll be on sale a few weeks after they are released anyway.

Profit off of and advance the profit of companies when you are supposedly against the practices they engage in :heh:

You can't really be this dense can you? Regardless of what you plan to do with the copies, bethesdas already has their money out of your pockets.

Now I'm not gonna knock your hustle but for you to come in here talking about an "industry wide problem"...

I preorder from franchises that have a good track record. Arkham Origins was shyt when it came out on pc iirc.

Preordering from Bethesda is a HUGE risk. Their shyt always comes out buggy. I'm thinking of cancelling that one.

This nicca Luck is spitting some of the dumbest shyt I've ever seen in thecoli history. My head spinnin brehs.

Dude basically said no one should buy something until they hear from other people their experiences. Well if that's the case who is ever going to buy anything in the first place? We all just waiting for someone else to buy it first. Jesus christ :mjlol:

God damn some of you nikkas are brain dead :snoop:

There's literally dozens of spots on the Internet that give feedback on games before anyone has to purchase anything

A lot of products are sent out for free to people to provide feedback and reviews for. its a well known practice to get products marketed that companies stand behind. Samples, demos, test drives etc... Are all examples of this.

YOU don't have to spend a dime, quit using that "someone has to be the first" logic because it's dumb as hell and makes zero sense
