I'm talking about rappers and their lyrics. I love Hip Hop, but it doesn't get a pass just cause I love it.

A. My favorite rappers have talked about shooting "nikkas"/meaning other black men in multiple, entertaining, head nodding, and even artistic ways. Great.


B. I know there are plenty of songs out there about corrupting policing and the trials and tribulations of a being a black man in America. Great.

C. So make a Kumbaya Rap song related to black man getting gunned down, seemingly unjustly, after Mike Brown in Ferguson. Great.

D. My point was, lets wait and see how long all these rappers talking about police brutality of black men, will go back to talking about shooting other black men in their next tracks. If that doesn't at least make you go ...then you are sleep walking
