Wouldn't be necessary since she doesn't need to convince/deceive Laenor. He had no issue claiming the Strong kids as his own, so theoretically he'd have no issue claiming a blonde Daemon seed.

It's the public perception/optics that ruined their arrangement, Rhaenyra should've made sure her lover either had blonde hair or dark skin, especially after the first kid came out looking the way it did

Targaryens are not immune to fire or dragonfire.

Dany's first time not being burned by fire was a magical event caused by blood magic and the birth of the dragons.

The second time she wasn't burned was a show only creation that didn't have an explanation.

But we've seen Jon and Viserys from Game of Thrones suffer burns, and Laena (who is half Targaryen) burned by dragonfire. Daemon has burn scars on his body and both of his parents and grandparents were Targaryen siblings. Dany herself suffers burns in the books as well.

Game of Thrones deviated from the books to give Daenerys Targaryen a supernatural immunity to fire. Don't count on it extending to the rest of her family.

We’ve also seen Daemon fly through dragonfire, are we sure he’s not immune? I don’t remember seeing him get burned, so I didn’t think those scars were from fire.

Final time jump is coming. Lot of ways it could have been handled. It could have been like Godfather II where you you have flashbacks sprinkled throughout. Or they could have simply started with everyone grown and ready to go, without any flashbacks. Ultimately I think it was the right decision to start from the beginning because it's important to establish that Rhae and Alicent were once best friends and as close as sisters. It was also important to establish various other things (the up/down history of Daemon, Corlys' early ambitions, Otto's influence, etc).

My issue is that I simply think they failed to establish a lot of the side characters at various moments. Like tonight with Laenor...he didn't have a single dialogue scene with his sister, as an adult or child. That's just weird to me. Similar to the way Harwin Strong barely had any scenes with Rhae before the wedding feast.

BTW now that's it's happened...remember Helaena Targaryen's comments on Aemond when he told their mom about the flying pig? "He'll have to close an eye...." Listen carefully to what she says in episodes.

There were 3 flying with the ship leaving Driftmark so Alicent has 3. Her 2 boys have one but I don’t know who the 3rd belongs to.

Where are you getting this? There’s nothing that points to a dragon letting anyone else but the “owner” ride them.

Vhagar flew to Driftmark to mourn Laena. There’s also nothing to say that Vhagar would’ve chosen Laena’s daughter.

The last part is true, but that little shythead didn’t even give Laena’s daughter a chance. To do that shyt at their mom’s funeral is foul.
